We are located at 239 Victoria Street, Unit 207. The address is not visible from the street. You will find our door directly behind the showcase in front of Jardines Home and Red Wing Boots.  

How do I know if I am a good candidate for a treatment?

There are contraindications for all our treatments, which is why we do an extensive consultation prior to scheduling any treatment(s). Even if you have had previous treatments before, we still require a consultation.  

How often between appointments?

That is dependent on the type of treatment you are having, and where. Generally, 4 weeks between appointments, but that is not the case for some of our treatments. Your practitioner will advise you during consultation what the frequency is for your specific treatment.

As a rule, preparing for your appointments with Eunoia Skin Care + Laser involves a few key steps to ensure a smooth and effective experience. During your consultation, you will receive specific information about your treatment, but generally, these guidelines are helpful. Complete any required paperwork before your appointment to provide your practitioner with all pertinent information. Avoid direct sun exposure without SPF 30 or higher, as severely tanned or sunburned skin cannot be treated. If avoiding the sun is difficult, take steps to prevent skin damage before your appointment. Do not use tanning beds, self-tanners, or spray tans on the treatment area for three weeks prior, as these can alter skin pigment and affect treatment settings, potentially causing epidermal damage. If having laser hair removal treatments, it's important to shave the morning of or the night before if time constraints don't allow. A clean shave ensures that all hair is sticking above the skin; otherwise, the IPL will not target the follicle but will target the pigment of the skin above the surface, leading to more discomfort and less effective results. Avoid heavy lotions or deodorants in the treatment area on the day of your appointment, and discontinue harsh skincare products such as retinoids or exfoliants at least a week before your appointment. Stay hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment, and ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup or lotions on the day of your session. Inform your provider of any new medications or changes in your medical status, as some medications can cause photosensitivity. Arriving with clean skin is ideal, but if your appointment is during or immediately after work, we can quickly cleanse the area for your convenience. If returning to work after your appointment, bring makeup to reapply, except for treatments like Tribella or radio fractional, where you should avoid applying anything to your face for 24-48 hours. We are always happy to answer any questions, so if something was not addressed during your consultation, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Some treatments may have minimal downtime, allowing you to resume your regular activities immediately after the appointment, while others may require a few days of recovery time. During your consultation, your practitioner will discuss the expected downtime associated with your specific treatment in detail. It's important to follow any post-treatment instructions provided to minimize discomfort and promote optimal healing.

Firstly, avoid harsh skincare products like retinoids or exfoliants, whether manual or device-based, for at least one week prior to your appointment to reduce skin sensitivity. Additionally, minimize sun exposure as much as possible, and apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen every couple of hours when outdoors. Refrain from scheduling appointments if you've undergone injections such as Botox, Dysport, or fillers, or had a chemical peel within the last 30 days. Furthermore, avoid taking ibuprofen and aspirin (unless required by a physician) one week before your appointment to decrease the risk of bruising. Following these guidelines can help ensure a smooth and effective experience.

What is your cancellation policy?

What is your cancellation policy?

  Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and respect for both our clients and practitioners. When you schedule your first appointment, you'll receive a full cancellation policy for review, and we'll provide you with a copy for your records during our consultation. We require a credit card on file for cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours' notice and for no-show appointments. In the event of a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, a fee of $50 will be charged to your credit card on file. No-show appointments may be subject to being charged the full price of the appointment. We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we strive to maintain flexibility while also respecting the time and resources invested in preparing for your appointment.
